Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Prices, Loans and Financing

Prices of liposuction, breast augmentation surgery, breast lift surgery, the average cost rhinoplasty, tummy tuck abdominoplasty, facelift and eyelid surgery, prices for non invasive liposuction, smart lipo and other advanced cosmetic surgery procedures. Where to go for cosmetic surgery loans and interest free financing for board certified plastic surgeons in your area.

1. Plastic Surgery Breast Enhancement

To calculate breast enlargement prices you need to know three pieces of information:

  • how much will the surgeon charge
  • will there be an operating room or hospital stay fee
  • how much will the anesthesiologist charge for the procedure

There’s a good reason why few websites or cosmetic surgery centers offer exact cosmetic surgery prices online: there are too many variables for prices to be helpful to a prospective patient. However, breast augmentation, on average will cost about $1,000 for the actual implants. Most anesthesiologist will charge no more than $1,000 per procedure to keep asleep or sedated for an hour or two. The hospital charges, including operating room and nursing, will also be on average about $1,000. The surgeon’s fee is seldom less than $2,000 to $4,000. That means it’s going to cost a minimum of $5,000 to over $7,000 for breast augmentation surgery. For breast lift surgery, you can eliminate the implant costs, which means the operation will (on average) be close to $4,000 plus.

2. Average Cost Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty can be a small nose job or a complex reconstruction. There are two types:

  • primary rhinoplasty
  • Revision rhinoplasty

Primary rhinoplasty and revision rhinoplasty will require hospital fees, anesthesiologist costs and the surgeon’s fees just like all advanced cosmetic surgery procedures and operations. Prices for the simplest procedures will start around three thousand but most reconstructive surgeries will run closer to the ten thousand dollar range.

3. Plastic Surgery Liposuction

Liposuction prices depend on the type of procedure.

  • Is it non invasive liposuction?
  • Is it actually a tummy tuck? Tummy tucks will be listed under abdominoplasty.
  • Will it be tumescent liposuction, smart lipo or another laser liposuction process?

For a more detailed look at the various procedures, including abdominoplasty costs, please refer to the post entitled: Tummy Tuck Cost, and for more precise examples of how much does liposuction cost for each different type of procedure, refer to the Liposculpture article, or the Cellulite Removal posts.

4. Cosmetic Surgery Financing

Cosmetic surgery loans and interest free financing can be obtained through a variety of companies that also offer lists of board certified plastic surgeons that are approved for certain procedures. Most will cover the cost of treatments like Vaser Lipo, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation, facelift treatments, eyelid surgery as well as some common breast lift surgery procedures.

In some cases a patient may apply for a revolving line of credit, usually with a minimum monthly balance, in some cases it must be $5,000 or more. Loans are usually affordable because most of the top cosmetic surgery finance companies offer an option for a 2 year interest free arrangement. Plastic surgery costs can be less of a burden if you have pre- approved cosmetic surgery financing already in place. Here are some of the companies who offer cosmetic surgery loans and financing options:

  • Care Credit cosmetic surgery financing – ensures that the cosmetic surgery prices you’re quoted will be covered using a handy little card, like a credit card, but just for your surgical and cosmetic needs. Although board certified plastic surgeons usually accept major credit cards like Visa / MasterCard, the CareCredit Card is a financing solution that provides those who qualify a no interest plan that can be extended for six months or up to 2 years.
  • Chase Healthcare cosmetic surgery loans – offer financing to the top plastic surgery clinics and board certified plastic surgeons across the United States. Chase offers to match your needs with a surgeon or clinic or cover the bulk of the cosmetic surgery prices via a revolving line of credit. Apply on your own through the Chase online system or consult your surgeon, dermatologist or technician regarding the arrangements they may have through the various Chase cosmetic surgery financing options.
